The green branches on this shrub are unarmed and strongly divided and grow to 3m high. The leaves are small and deciduous. There are 3 leaflets near the base of the branches. The bright yellow flowers are sometimes tinged with reddish-orange. It’s habitats include roadsides and thickets.
