Red Osier Dogwood,

Cornus stolonifera.

 

Perennial shrub to 6m tall. The stems are red and the lower trailing branches often root freely. The flowers are white, numerous in flat clusters at end of branch. The fruits are also white. The leaves are opposite and deciduous. They are oval shape and well veined and pointed. They like moist soils in streamside forests and valley bottoms.
